Thanksgiving Spin Class

spinSince the Wellness Center will be closed during the Thanksgiving Holidays, I thought I’d offer a special spin class on Wednesday morning. Katie McCoy, a new spin instructor, & I will team teach the 90 minute class. The class will be open to members & guests of The Wellness Center. Unfortunately, due to the number of available bikes the class will be limited to 20 people. If you are interested, please call The Wellness Center at 5:30am on Monday, Nov 23 to sign up. The class will absolutely fill up, so call first thing Monday morning to get on the list.

Alwyn Cosgrove, a well known fitness trainer wrote this a while back:

Between Thanksgiving  and New Years Eve -  the average American gains ten pounds of fat.
Now I’m not sure if that’s true, but it sure seems like most people get a little slack with their diet and exercise program this time of year. I know the gym sure seems much emptier these days.
