Got a Training Partner?
I usually do my strength training before 5am. Since no one else wants to train at that hour, I’m always training solo. So today I decided to switch things up. Instead of lifting in the morning I decided to go ahead and knock out my cardio for the day, saving my weights til the afternoon. Putting it off for a few hours turned out to be a good decision. I was able to train chest with a good friend of mine. Talk about different! Having someone else there made such a difference. I was able to push myself so much harder and use much heavier weights. It also got me fired up about future workouts.
So the next time you’re looking for a little extra motivation try training with a friend. A few workouts with a buddy just might be all you need to push past that plateau.
