Alwyn Cosgrove, a well known fitness trainer wrote this a while back:

Between Thanksgiving  and New Years Eve -  the average American gains ten pounds of fat.
Now I’m not sure if that’s true, but it sure seems like most people get a little slack with their diet and exercise program this time of year. I know the gym sure seems much emptier these days.

When 2010 arrives everyone will be hitting the gym, trying to lose the weight they just gained!
Currently, we have about 8 weeks until New Years. If you stepped it up and lost 1-2 pounds a week by then you would start 2010 looking good and feeling great.

Why not make a decision to lose 8-16lbs by New Years. Losing 1-2 pounds per week is not that hard. With the right training plan you could still enjoy Thanksgiving dinner and have room to spare.

Make a decision to start 2010 leaner than you started 2009!
PS. If you need help getting started on a solid fat-loss plan just contact me. I offer several options including: personal training, group training, workout videos, etc.
